Hey y'all!
Last week was a lot of fun! It was pretty crazy though. We are still on foot which, I think, is a lot of fun.
On Wednesday Elder Persé and I were on exchanges and we walked forever and tried to contact some referrals but no one was interested. We did find a lot of frogs though :)
Then, on Thursday night, Elder Persé and I drove up to hope mills to spend the night so that Elder Persé could spend the night with the zone leaders to be at a meeting in Raleigh early Friday morning. So I spent Friday night with Elder Guymon and Elder Stephens. Elder Stephens was sick so Elder Guymon and I had a bake off. We kinda just threw random stuff into a bowl and mixed it together. Mine was this pumpkin flavored thing that I really can't explain.
We are working with some of the Burmese adults to help them learn English. We use their ipads to look up children's videos about the Alphabet =). It is a lot of fun until the songs get stuck in your head.... Well love y'all!
Love,

Lumberton - Week 10
Hey Everyone!
Last week was a lot of fun, but it went way too fast!
Elder Gallagher got a flat tire and we haven't been able to find a replacement tube so we have done a whole lot of walking, which has been very enjoyable.
We started teaching a man named Larry. He is black and retired and awesome! We taught him the plan of salvation and he LOVED it! Then last Saturday we went over to teach him the Restoration and he LOVED it! At the end of the lesson he was talking about how good the Bible was then he said "but now we have the better record!" It is awesome to see how much difference a willing mind and an open heart make when it comes to spiritual things.
Hope y'all have a great week! Love y'all!

Lumberton - Week 9
Hey everyone!
Not a lot happened this last week. I got sick so I wasn't able to do much.
Elder Persé and I went on exchanges in his area and we went on an adventure! We pretty much just drove the whole time and gave people Bibles. It was a lot of fun.
The rest of the time we taught people about the gospel and met some wonderful people. I am feeling a lot healthier now so life is pretty good.
Love you all!

Lumberton - Week 8
Hey everyone!
This last week was great! But it also felt really long... which was actually kind of nice for once.
Elder Gallagher got sick and we couldn't go anywhere for two days, so that wasn't too much fun.
Htaw got baptized! He is 9 years old and now his whole family is baptized and they are starting to work toward going to the temple someday.
Aor-Reh baptized Htaw, which was really exciting. He had to do it three times, but he finally got it! :) It is a little extra exciting because Aor-Reh was baptized just last summer. Aor-Reh helped us teach Htaw all the things he needs to know, then Htaw wanted Aor-Reh to baptized him. On Sunday he asked me to confirm him and give him the Holy Ghost. We had a very spirit filled weekend. =D

Lumberton - Week 7
Happy March everybody!
Last week there was a lot going on, but it was a lot of fun.
I got a new companion. His name is Elder Gallagher and he is awesome! He has been out 18 months and it shows. He is a great teacher and really knows how things are supposed to work. We have been getting this area organized and things are starting to improve.
We no longer have a car because someone else needed it more than we did. Now we are in an all bike area. It has been an adventure so far. Aor-Reh needs more exercise, so it has been good for him =D.
Over the past couple weeks I made the goal to be a more Christ centered missionary in everything I do and in everything I teach. Everything has changed to say the least. I am happier. The people we teach are feeling the Spirit more clearly and most importantly they are understanding the incredible things Christ has done for them and is now doing for them.
Love y'all!
