Hey Everyone!
Last week was a lot of fun. It was long and exhausting, but it was fun!
We are back to switching off weeks with the car, with the Sisters. That means every other week we are on our bikes. Our area is really spread out so we get to do a significant amount of biking, which has actually been a lot better than I thought it would be. For example, we felt like we needed to go to visit a less active that lived around 10 - 15 miles away. We planned several places we could knock on doors and try to contact people along the way. After 4 hours of nothing, we finally got to this less active person's house. We walked up the door and knocked and asked for the person and they weren't there... But it just happened that their son is also living there, who is also less active!! We were able to have a good visit with him and talked about the power of prayer. Not a whole lot has come of it yet, but we definitely felt the Spirit that day.
"And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith." -Ether 12:6
I know this scripture to be true and that if we can hold out hopeful through our hard days in life, I know we will see more of the picture and understand a bit more of why we are here. Love y'all!
Love,
Elder Harper
