Durham - Week24

Hello Everyone,

This last week was crazy,  or at the very least it ended crazy!

On Wednesday we had exchanges.  Our District Leader, Elder Moore, came to our area and we had a great time ripping carpet out of a less active members house.  We had to wear gloves and face masks because the carpet was pretty nasty.

Then on Friday I found out that I am getting transferred, I leave tomorrow (Tuesday 1/13).  It was very unexpected, but I am excited.

On Saturday we left our apartment around 2:00 pm, and got back around 6:00 pm,  and found the ceiling in our apartment dripping water and the floor was soaked! We did have a wonderful tender mercy though, our clothes and our beds were totally dry and clean.  That was a major relief!  Since the flood happened, we have been living with the Spanish Elders that live really close to us.  We carried our beds over and our clothes and it has been a ton of fun! Very cramped but very fun.
