Hey y'all!
This last week was crazy fun!
We do a lot with the Burmese youth because most of their parents speak very little English. For teaching we usually take one of the young men with us to translate which makes teaching interesting. We usually teach very simply and to the point.
The Book of Mormon isn't translated into Burmese which is an interesting obstacle but it has been awesome to see that the spirit will witness in a way that even though they might not understand the scriptures we share, they understand that it is true.
I spoke in sacrament meeting yesterday which I enjoyed! I had to fill a twenty minute gap and I wish I had more time because I had to cut my talk short! :) I really love this area. For one, it is completely abnormal which makes missionary work a lot more fun and also the Burmese people see us and they treat us like family.
