Lumberton - Week 14

Hey everyone!

Last week was one big blessing, for a lot of little reasons.

The people that we are helping to learn English, are finally starting to pick up on the basics and it is becoming a lot of fun.

We had our annual Activity Zone Conference in Wilmington. We didn't get to go to the beach though.

Then on Friday, we went to see an investigator that we haven't seen in a long time. Aor came to translate for us and Elder Rushton (The Rushtons are the senior couple that are serving in Lumberton) gave us all a ride to the appointment. Most of the Burmese people can't read in Burmese or English so we can't ask them to read anything, but our investigators friend moved in with them and he reads Burmese! We gave him a Plan of Salvation pamphlet to read. We kinda just sat back for a minute and watched the lights turn on. It was a wonderful thing to see. Tender mercies are the best! Love y'all!

Love,
Elder Harper
